Jinxed Nail Polish – Kites on the Wall (with Nail Art)

I have recently received The Cat in the Hat polish collection from an up and coming UK Indie polish maker, Jinxed Nail Polish. The collection is to be released very soon, so I am really excited to be given the opportunity to get a sneaky preview and share with you!

The collection contains 6 fab polishes all with a little sparkle inside 🙂

I will talk more about the rest of the polishes in further posts but for now I’m focusing on Kites on the Wall (front, middle in the above image)

Well where to start this is a fab pearlescent blue with both hexagonal glitter and smaller specks of blue and green. It’s one of those polishes that never looks the same as one light the blue will appear darker and in another, lighter. Depending on the light as well you get bright flashes from the larger hexagonal glitter and sparkles of blue and green from the smaller glitter.

Here is a little glimpse of it on my nails

This is 2 coats, plus a clear top coat. This polish does need two coats to really show it off but it seems fairly quick drying. I was in such a hurry to try that I did two coats and the top coat in quick succession and in less that 10 minutes it was dry, not just touch dry but dry!! Fab for those of you in a hurry.

Well you have probably already guessed the nail art I might do on a polish with this name! Yep, I have used the images from the page of The Cat in the Hat containing ‘kites on the wall’.

Over the next few days I will be sampling and reviewing the rest of the collection, so keep your eyes peeled!
